
EWB-I is implementing a joint housing project in Bethlehem involving EWB-Palestine and EWB-Israel in 2008.
A water filter donated by Ben Pressman from the Regional Municipality of York, Ontario will be installed in the summer 2008 in Cuauhtemoc, Altamira, Mexico, a rural community of about 3,000 people, to treat their wastewater. Implementation of this project involves the utility company, COMAPA-Altamira and ISF-Mexico. For more information contact Prof. Gerardo Sanchez.

A joint project on Treatment and Recycling of Wastewater Produced by Olive Oil Mills between the University of Utah, Salt Lake City (EWB-USA) and Birzeit University in Palestine (EWB-Palestine) receives one of the ten 2007 Mondialogo Engineering Awards.
